I am just learning more lately about blogs. When I upgraded Kellybridge today, I saw some figures that blew my mind.

chemo tomorrow...wear your shirt!

Tomorrow is chemo day...let's all lift her up by wearing TEAM KELLY shirts! How fun for you to all see each other around town in got hope? shirts. Knowing we are all connected...it'll be like that game -six degrees of kevin bacon but kelly stewart. I can just imagine the conversations trying to get back to kelly stewart in only 6 moves or less :) And don't forget to take pics and send them to us. Here are a few pics we got over the weekend.

If you don't have your TEAM KELLY shirt yet...I promise it is coming! We had sooo many orders that we didn't actually get to place the order as soon as we hoped. There are over 800 shirts now!!! This has been quite a job so we appreciate your patience so very much! There is a spreadsheet with a lot of names on it...I promise to get back to you very soon!

My daughter had an overwhelming response to the wristbands and sold over 200 of them in 2 days. That just goes to show how much Kelly is loved and supported! We placed another order and should be receiving it in about a week. You may still order them and I will get them out as soon as they come in. Send me an email or text and I will put you on my list.

Niece tatum cut her hair too...and donated it. Isn't she beautiful? Oh how we love this girl. She is precious. And good. And lovely. And brave.

pray. pray. pray. That is Jose's advice to us. He is a family friend that worked at Landmark many years ago and started his own lawn business. Blake shared with Jose' last week about kelly. He said he knows we have money to pay doctors, but what we really need to do...is pray. It's just that simple. He told blake about his customer that was diagnosed with cancer. Jose' prayed diligently for him and today his customer is cancer free! He has thanked Jose' over and over for praying for him...Jose' said, "No no no! Don't thank me. Thank Him!"

And then...blake had lunch with tim...a dear friend that has been a vendor for Landmark for many many years. They go to Salt Grass for lunch from time to time. They talk about work and such and ask about their families and so on. He noticed tim wearing a HOPE wristband. He told tim about kelly. Tim said his church passed out these wristbands on Easter Sunday...his pastor told his congregation to pay attention to the people you encounter...be brave and pass these wristbands out to someone who needs a little hope. So I am wearing a HOPE wristband right now from a little church in Aledo, Texas. And TEAM KELLY has multiplied again.

Please pray this:

1. for nourishment tomorrow before chemo on tuesday

2. for her will to fight

3. for her anxiety about her hair

4. for friends and family and their constant worry

5. for healing and shrinking tumors

6. Thank HIM for all the blessings He has given us this past week

today...

So sorry...didn't mean to keep you in such suspense! Blog updates are obviously wanted and needed...have we turned you into blog stalkers? :) She is feeling soooo good! She is so much better! Kelly has been busy since Sunday. Crazy busy! She actually drove her car this week. Sam asked her if she remembered how to drive. Ella was just excited she took her to school and picked her up in the same day! We know she could have driven sooner, but we kinda swarm her and don't let her DO anything. TEAM KELLY is so present and always doing...she has no clue where anything is in her house, because she isn't doing the laundry. or dishes. or cleaning. TEAM KELLY is AMAZING.

Looking at the future is scary and unknown and can be overwhelming...therefore I am just thinking of today and thankful for today and it's many many blessings!

When the sun comes up, she thanks Him for today...she asks Him to show her the good in today. Some nights are really difficult to go to sleep, thinking of the future. But one day at a time, He reminds her that He is present and has already designed this blessed day.

and then...nurse tammy called just to check on her.

easter sunday was filled with love and blessings...thank you Jesus.

Happy Easter TEAM KELLY!! We're getting all these texts from friends and family wishing us a happy easter. It made us think of our new family...TEAM KELLY...made of so many friends, and friends of friends...that we don't even know and have never met...following this blog. This week we got a picture of someone wearing a TEAM KELLY shirt but we have yet to figure out who she is. Just love that...a friend of a friend of a friend praying for kelly and our family.
