Team Kelly represented the Pancreatic Cancer Purple Stride walk today 116 members strong. We covered the streets of Uptown with GOT HOPE? shirts and reunited with friends and family.
The crowd at Klyde Warren Park congested the area in purple, but thankfully Jason was able to make his way to the stage as they announced Team Kelly as the #2 top fundraiser raising over $19,215!
Amazingly, Jason was asked to stay on the stage to announce he was the #2 top fundraising individual raising over $7,385!!!
The top team, It's All Good, raised $35,469, and their honoree is Jimmy, another South Garland High School graduate.
Thank you all for coming out and participating. This event means a lot to the Stewart Family and I hope we can always gather annually for this event to honor Kelly and raise more funds for The Pancreatic Cancer Network www.pancan.org.
