chemo...finally!

Hi Team Kelly :)  She was able to get treatment today!!!  5th one down, one more to go!  God's timing allowed for kelly to have 6 amazing weeks of feeling great.  She seemed to do really well today with the treatment.  It was a long day in the chemo lounge as she is the first one there and the last one to leave.  But she is home and resting.  She will continue chemo through a pouch at home for 48 hours...then returns to get that out on Thursday.  She'll get another booster shot on Friday.  Pray for comfort as she finishes out this treatment.

Here are few pics of TK sightings...which gives kelly tremendous amounts of joy!!

Today's devotion...

I am the firm foundation on which you can dance and sing and celebrate My Presence.  This is My High and Holy calling for you; receive it as a precious gift.  Glorifying and enjoying Me is a higher priority than maintaining a tidy, structured life.  Give up your striving to keep everything under control--an impossible task and a waste of precious energy.  My guidance for each of My children is unique.  That's why listening to Me is so vital for your well-being.  Let me prepare you for the day that awaits you and point you in the right direction.  I am with you continually, so don't be intimidated by fear.  Though it stalks you, it cannot harm you, as long as you cling to My hand.  Keep your eyes on Me, enjoying Peace in My Presence.

Psalm 5:11; Ephesians 3:20-21; Jude 24-25; Joshua 1:5

Tomorrow is scary...always.  But we know fear can't harm us and we won't let it intimidate us.  Thank you, Jesus, for getting us through today.

Please continue to pray for minimal side effects and high spirits.  Pray she stays hydrated and nourished.  Thank Him for hearing our prayers.  Many many thanks to all of you, Team Kelly, for enormous amounts of outpouring love and support.  We are forever in debt to your gracious acts of kindness.
